Thank you for your interest in the role of UK Director – Wales and Western.
Our work in Wales and the West of England meets the needs of thousands of vulnerable people each year. With a team of five Area Operations Directors and supporting professionals, you will be responsible for the dynamic implementation of our new strategy for work in the UK, focusing on emergency response, first aid and first aid learning, volunteer engagement, care in the home services, our schools and education programmes and work with refugees, asylum seekers, vulnerable migrants.

It goes without saying that we want someone exceptional to join us. You already have a proven track record of leadership in a complex organisation and of operating as part of a senior group of directors. An excellent communicator, you will play a key role in helping people develop a greater awareness of what we do here in the UK. With a sound understanding of emergency services and/or health or social care, you have a sophisticated approach to working with multiple stakeholders. Ultimately, you are passionate about what we do and want to play a significant role in our continued success.
